The main character is so stoic and unemotional that I just can not grasp what Neil Gaiman meant to paint with this character. Maybe it is simply the way I discover him, maybe it is simply that I want more from the major character that leads me through a story to certainly enjoy the story itself and be captivated by using it. I have to say even though that I’m absolutely intrigued by using the world Gaiman has created and the mythology at the back of it.
The storyline of The Monarch of the Glen Audiobook Mp3 was interesting and it made me curious Gaiman does write nicely and from time to time. Especially the narration by the author that creates, in my head, more immersive storytelling you are hearing it as he imagined it to be. The pauses and nuances of his narration adding to the understanding of the emotion of the story.
Combined with the stunning version I received to study with illustrations via Daniel Egnéus I supply this audiobook 4 stars.
