The Two Towers Audiobook Synopsis

The Two Towers audiobook sees an escalation of the themes begun in The Fellowship of the Ring, as the party begins to run into more serious trouble, and is forced to split.

Sauron’s emmissary, Sarumon, a dark wizard, is in the process of building an orc-army to annihilate the realms of men. He also sends hunting parties out to find The Fellowship, kill them and take possession of the ring.

Frodo and Sam split off from the group, as Frodo realizes his presence as the ring bearer is likely to get everyone killed. Gandalf is imprisoned by Saruman, and the other two hobbits are lost and find their way into a magical forest of walking trees, while Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimlii seek to warn the kingdoms of men and prepare for battle.

The majority of this novel depicts the massive battle that occurs. Though the outcome looks bleak at first, ultimately Saruman is defeated, as the elves come to the last minute aid of the humans, and Gandalf reappears with riders from a second human kingdom, uniting old alliances once again.

The amazing author of this amazing fiction novel and movie is J. R. R. Tolkien’s. He is created quite a plot in this novel that revolves around the three stories in this second part of the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings. The audience is quite in love with his work. Also, those who are audio listeners liked his work a lot.

Rob Inglis is the amazing narrator of The Two Towers Audiobook Mp3. Rob Inglis, also known as Robert Inglis is quite famous in the world of narrators as he is not only the narrator of The Two Towers. But, he is also the narrator of the other trilogies of The Lord of the Rings along with some other novels and movies such as The Hobbit and Unabridged.

Audiobook Review

I cannot tell you how many times I have read this book. While Tolkien is not my favorite writer by any means, this is my favorite novel of all times. I believe that Tolkien’s talent lies in character, relationship and world building and that’s what makes books go from GOOD to GREAT to AWESOME. I really adore the characters in this book and Bilbo will always have a place in my heart. I 100% recommend picking up the audiobook as well.

My favorite thing to do after a hard week is to put on the audiobook and bake bread while I delve into words I’ve practically memorized. The audible audiobook has little to no-frills and the narrator does a phenomenal job at keeping to the heart of the series. You can tell who the different characters are by the subtle changes in his voice, yet he’s not so drastically different that it’s disorienting.
