Prof. Croft: Demon Moon Audiobook Streaming Online by Brad Magnarella
Demon Moon Audiobook is the first book in the best-selling urban fantasy series – Prof. Croft by the author Brad Magnarella. This is an enjoyable beginning to an urban fantasy/paranormal mystery series.
Mostly it was the expedition and the difficulty on the trip like wolves, gargoyles, and more! Enjoyed it! If you like occult action, spell-crackling suspense, and moments of heart, heroism, and all-out laughter, you’ll love Prof Croft!
Plot Summary
Everson Croft here, professor of mythology and behind-the-scenes wizard.
Show me an amateur conjurer, and I’ll stop him before he gets himself killed.
That’s the idea, anyway. But New York City isn’t what it used to be, and I don’t mean the recent crash.
Amateur casters are calling up creatures they shouldn’t be able to. And there’s been a murder at the city’s most hallowed cathedral, a message in blood on the victim’s back the NYPD wants me to interpret, like yesterday.
Something tells me I’m in over my head. And that’s not just Chinatown’s newest mob boss, a scary-powerful vampire, or my possessed cat talking.
No matter how much magic I hurl, worse keeps chasing bad, and I’m amassing enemies like they’re aluminum cans.
Did I mention the end of the world might be nigh?
Damn. Maybe I’m the amateur here.
Audiobook Review
A fantastic start to the series. Demon Moon Audiobook mp3 reminds me a lot of the Dresden books. I love these kinds of books. If you like the Dresden you will like this one.
It is well written, with good flow. The magic world is interesting, and perhaps a bit too complex for a first book. The characterization is pretty good. The storyline is also pretty good. There are so many elements thrown in that Croft has to balance that it became a little confusing. And it made it hard to give each a solid enough foundation.
About the narration, I really liked the performance. James Patrick Cronin has a good voice to listen to and brings a sense of pace to the book that I really enjoyed. He is the best narrator I have personally listened to! I think his voice also sounds great for the character of the Prof Croft series.
