Behind the Headphones: My Journey with The Blood King Audiobook
Hello, fellow book enthusiasts! It’s your friendly neighborhood book blogger, Stephen Dale, back with another audiobook adventure to share. Today, I’m diving into the captivating world of “The Blood King Audiobook,” the second installment in the Chronicles of the Necromancer series by the talented Gail Z. Martin.
If you’ve been following my journey, you’ll remember my earlier encounter with “The Summoner Audiobook.” Well, it’s safe to say that “The Blood King” continues the spellbinding journey of Prince Martris Drayke, picking up the pieces after narrowly escaping a treacherous plot by his malevolent brother, Jared.
In this sequel, Tris must come to terms with his newfound magical abilities, including the power to summon the dead. His ultimate goal? Amass an army mighty enough to challenge his half-brother’s claim to the throne and, by extension, thwart the dark mage Foor Arontala’s sinister plans to unleash the Obsidian King.
As you can imagine, it’s a high-stakes quest, filled with danger, intrigue, and Tris’s own internal battle with his growing magical prowess. The fate of Margolan hangs in the balance, and the weight of responsibility lies heavily on Tris’s shoulders.
“The Blood King Audiobook” skillfully weaves a tale of assassins, political machinations, and magical prowess. As the plot unfolds, Tris is not only faced with external threats but also the potential dark forces within himself. The tension is palpable, and the story grips you from the very beginning.
What truly shines in this series are the rich characters. Gail Z. Martin introduces us to a diverse array of personalities, and we see the development of characters like Princess Kiara and healer Carina, each with their unique qualities and arcs. It’s a testament to Martin’s storytelling skills to provide both similarities and contrasts between characters, keeping the narrative engaging.
As a bonus, we’re introduced to a delightful character, a small hunting dragon named Jae. It’s these creative touches that add a layer of charm to the story.
If you’re not a die-hard fantasy reader, “The Blood King Audiobook” might not be the mind-blowing fantasy experience that leaves a lasting impression. However, if you’re already a fan of the genre, this audiobook offers a satisfying and entertaining read that’s worth your time.
And the best part? You can embark on this thrilling journey by listening to “The Blood King Audiobook” on my website, Audiobooks4soul.com. It’s available for streaming and download, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the action.
In conclusion, “The Blood King Audiobook” is another solid addition to the Chronicles of the Necromancer series. It may not reinvent the fantasy genre, but it offers a fantastic escape into a world of magic, intrigue, and adventure.
Happy listening!

Please can you sort this out, it’s seems to be not working again. Thanks
Hi, I just updated this audiobook and use new player. Please give it a try.
What happened to the chronicles of the necromancer series, it doesn’t seem to be working on any of the audiobooks. Any chance of fixing it please. Kind regards Darren
Sorry for this problem. I just fixed it. You can listen to this audiobook now.
Thanks for doing it so quickly, much appreciated. If you’re able to get it , the series immortality and chaos is great and I would love to hear the audiobook. I’ve listened to a brief sample of it and it sounded amazing. So if possible that would be great. I have many other suggestions albeit they are fantasy genre but still, they would be a good listen to. Thanks again for fixing the problem.
Been really enjoying alot of the audiobooks you have put up for everyone’s enjoyment but was sad to see there are no warhammer or warcraft audiobooks. I have recently enjoyed warhammers gods of mars series in book form and have discovered that it’s on audiobook so if I’m not being to presumptuous, would it be possible to put some of these books on your website. Thanks D.
I have no time now. But I will try to find them soon
Thank you loads for uploading this book, its been a great read many a time . If battlemage trilogy by Stephen Aryan was also a possibility to upload then that would make my stay in hospital that much more bearable. But much appreciation for these books thanks again.
