The Concrete Blond Audiobook seems very well researched with regards to how police operate and interact with each other. The story has a lot of twists. There are a lot of possibilities presented as to who is the killer.
All about Harry Bosch: The Concrete Blonde Audiobook
The Concrete Blonde is the third audiobook by American crime author Michael Connelly, featuring the Los Angeles detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch.
Audiobook ReviewThe Concrete Blonde Audiobook streaming was the best Bosch audiobook I have listened to date. It might even be the best Connelly novel or at least on par with The Fifth Witness Audiobook. Each Bosch audiobook has got better and better so far but it will be a hard act to follow after this!
I have listened to mystery thrillers most of my life, it was just plain awesome. A+ all the way! There is a serial killer, a courtroom drama, Harry’s personal life, and history all pulled together to make one of the best mystery thrillers ever.
If you haven’t listened to this one or any other Connelly audiobooks, ( I can’t imagine anyone who hasn’t), I highly recommend him. I would though try to read them in order if you can. I didn’t, and wish now that I had.
Plot Summary
The Dollmaker was the name of the serial killer who had stalked Los Angeles ruthlessly, leaving grisly calling cards on the faces of his victims. Now, with a single faultless shot, Harry Bosch thinks he has ended the city’s nightmare.
But the dead man’s widow is suing Harry and the LAPD for killing the wrong man – an accusation that rings terrifyingly true when a new victim is discovered with the Dollmaker’s macabre signature.
So, for the second time, Harry must hunt down a death-dealer who is very much alive, before he strikes again. It’s a blood-tracked quest that will take Harry from the hard edges of the L.A. night to the last place he ever wanted to go – the darkness of his own heart.
