Background
Carrie Audiobook is epistolary horror audio by American author Stephen King. The textbook was his first published novel, released on April 5, 1974, with an approximate first print-run of 30,000 copies.
Set primarily in the then-future year of 1979, it revolves around the eponymous Carrie White, an unpopular teenage girl, whose mother is a religious fanatic, is tormented and teased to the breaking point by her more popular schoolmates. She uses her hidden telekinetic powers to inflict a terrifying revenge.
Several adaptations of Carrie Audiobook Mp3 have been released, including a 1976 feature film, a 1988 Broadway musical as well as a 2012 off-Broadway revival, a 1999 feature film sequel, a 2002 television film, and a 2013 feature film.
Review
Stephen King – Carrie Audiobook Download like a case study of this incredibly odd event. It’s told from multiple points of view from witnesses and has so much more detail. The horror factor is very high.
It may not be one of the best King books written (my personal opinion) given it was his first but it’s definitely worth a listen. This novel was insane and fearless and obviously written by someone who had this story in him that needed to gush out like Carrie’s menstrual blood and crazy telekinetic angst.
It’s hard not to love this one, especially when read by the star of Carrie herself Sissy Space. Sissy Spacek is an amazing talent. Not only is she a fantastic actress, she’s a perfect narrator. I would listen to any books she reads, just to hear her talk. I’m so impressed with her and the entire production.
