Plot Summary
It’s zombie versus zombie as the Saberton Corporation declares war against the Zombie Mafia, kidnapping several of their party. It falls to Angel to lead the remnants of her gang halfway across the country to claw their way through corporate intrigue, zombie drugs, and undead trafficking to rescue her friends – and expose the traitor responsible for their abduction.

Diana Rowland is an urban fantasy writer and is best known for her Kara Gillian Series and White Trash Zombie Series. She has worked as a bartender, a blackjack dealer, a pit boss, a street cop, a detective, a computer forensics specialist, a crime scene investigator, and a morgue assistant.
In 2013 Rowland received an RT Reviewer’s Choice nomination for Best Urban Fantasy Worldbuilding for Touch of the Demon.
Audiobook Reviews
Story: I would recommend How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back Audiobook Free to others. This is the fourth audiobook in a series that I think is best read in order. The storyline is good. The complications, the twists, the who-done-it-ness, are all great. What’s even better though, is the continued character development, which is the real genius of Rowland.
Angel is a flawed, reluctant hero, that makes me laugh with her and root for her. I love how she is growing and learning in her new life. I like her better maybe than any other character I’ve ever followed. I love the complexities of her relationships with her boss, her work peers, and her ex-boyfriend.
The ending of this one was the best ever. It was just really good.
Narration: And once again Ms. McLemore does an amazing job narrating this audiobook. Allison McLemore has an enjoyable voice to listen to and does a decent job of distinguishing between different characters by making her voice sound different when each character is speaking. Seriously I could not image Angel’s voice any other way except by Ms. McLemore!
